Production method
Not known as a producer of its own distillates: the work mainly consists of sourcing and selecting components (single malts, grain whiskies, finish casks) from different distilleries and assembling them in small batches. Product sheets display percentage compositions, blending dates and 'marrying' times for limited releases.
Ageing
Woven uses components already aged/finished in casks; releases employ distillates with different maturations and finishes (e.g. sherry-seasoned, red-wine finishes and other cask types), which are then integrated into the blend and left to 'marry' for a defined period.
