Albana, like Sangiovese, is the wine that best represents Romagna. It is produced with berries from the vine of the same name, grown in the hills of the provinces of Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna, Bologna.
A particular wine that finds its strengths in a perfect balance between structure and softness, freshness and tannins, something truly rare in a white wine. Albana is an extremely interesting wine, it can be sweet but also intense, generous and enveloping when needed.
A combination of personality, softness and all-Romagna passion, which led in 1987 to the first white wine in Italy to have the Controlled and Guaranteed Designation of Origin (DOCG).
Campodora shows one color straw yellow with golden reflections, typical of Albana di Romagna. On the nose it releases a fine and clear aroma, with a marked aroma of floral notes of jasmine and fruity hints of yellow fruit including peach, apricot, pineapple and citrus fruits. The taste is decidedly rich and enveloping, with a finish characterized by clear tannins in great balance between freshness and acidity.
A dry wine perfect for accompanying seafood dishes such as Romagna-style fish broth or fried fish, it is ideal consumed with herb risottos or white meats.
