Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Dal Forno Romano represents the excellence of Venetian winemaking, born in the heart of the classic Valpolicella, a land suited to great structured red wines. Made mainly from Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, this Amarone expresses the complexity given by the drying technique, which concentrates sugars and aromas on the grapes selected after the harvest.

Maturation in fine wooden barrels allows the aromatic potential and tannic power to blend with elegance and depth, offering scents of ripe red fruit, cherry, plum, accompanied by spicy notes and a slight hint of vanilla and tobacco. The body is enveloping, with a perfect balance between softness and structure, capable of leaving a long, savory, and persistent finish.

Ideal with traditional Veronese dishes, red meats, and aged cheeses, this Amarone enhances every tasting with intensity and unmistakable character.

Declared vineyard area: 34 hectares. Special attention to grape drying and aging, with production focused on Amarone, Valpolicella and Recioto. Typical native grape varieties of Valpolicella: Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Croatina, Oseleta. Winery history
The Dal Forno family has been cultivating vineyards for generations. Romano Dal Forno began producing wine under his own name in the 1980s after meeting Giuseppe Quintarelli. The first vintage to bear the Dal Forno name dates to 1983. In subsequent years the winery invested in a new cellar, and management is now also carried on by the children, with Marco Dal Forno among the leading figures in the family business.
Production philosophy
Artisanal orientation and meticulous attention to quality: high planting density, very low yields per vine, rigorous grape selection and thorough vineyard monitoring. The approach includes grape withering for the most prestigious wines and extended aging in wood to achieve concentration and balance.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in Val d'Illasi, on the eastern side of the Valpolicella appellation, north of Verona. The vineyards lie on terraced slopes with alluvial soils of gravel, silt and clay, benefiting from good ventilation and favourable exposure; the declared elevations range from approximately 280 to 350 metres.
