Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Antonio Castagnedi Selection from Tenuta Sant'Antonio is a red wine that encapsulates the essence of Valpolicella, a renowned wine-producing area in Veneto. Produced exclusively in the best vintages, this Amarone represents excellence and tradition, resulting from careful selection of grapes and a lengthy appassimento process.

The varieties Corvina, Rondinella, Oseleta, and Croatina are the stars of this wine. Handpicked in the first weeks of October, the grapes undergo a natural drying process for about three months, concentrating sugars and flavors. After fermentation, the wine ages in French and American oak barriques for about 24 months, followed by further refinement in the bottle.

This Amarone exhibits a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a complex and persistent bouquet, with notes of mature fruits such as sour cherry and plum, enriched by nuances of sweet spices, chocolate, and a light touch of tobacco. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with a well-balanced structure and soft tannins, leading to a long and aromatic finish.

Ideal to accompany rich dishes like braised meats, roasts, and aged cheeses, the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG - Antonio Castagnedi Selection from Tenuta Sant'Antonio is also perfect as a meditation wine, to be enjoyed alone to fully appreciate its complexity. A true delight for the palate that reflects the love and care dedicated to its production.
