Situated at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain, an iconic symbol of the region, Chateau Gassier enjoys an ideal microclimate for viticulture, which, combined with the rich diversity of its soils, allows for the production of distinctive, high-quality wines.
"Le Pas du Moine" is a tribute to the nature and history of the region, whose name is inspired by the paths that the monks followed in the Middle Ages to cross the Sainte-Victoire massif. This rosé wine is the result of a careful selection of the best grapes, mainly Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, which give the wine a remarkable aromatic complexity and freshness.
Presented in Magnum format, which favors the evolution of the wine and underlines its importance for special occasions, the AOP Cotes de Provence Le Pas du Moine stands out for its pale and brilliant pink colour, characteristic of Provence rosés. On the nose, the wine offers a delicate but intense aroma, with notes of red fruits, white flowers, and nuances of citrus and spices, which reflect the richness of the varietal blend.
In the mouth, the rosé is lively and well-balanced, with a refreshing acidity that supports its structure and amplifies the fruity and floral sensations perceived on the nose. The finish is long and harmonious, with a pleasant minerality that gives elegance and persistence to the sip.
Ideal as an aperitif, the AOP Cotes de Provence - Le Pas du Moine by Chateau Gassier pairs beautifully with light starters, fish dishes, Mediterranean cuisine and fresh salads. Its versatility also makes it perfect for accompanying convivial moments outdoors, celebrating the lifestyle and flavors of Provence.
