Barbaresco DOCG Coste Rubin by Fontanafredda is born in the heart of the Langhe, one of the most renowned areas of Piedmont for the production of fine wines. This Barbaresco is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, an indigenous variety that finds its ideal habitat here, thanks to the calcareous-clay soil and the microclimate that promotes perfect ripening. The aging takes place in oak barrels, giving the wine a refined balance between firm tannins and a complex aromatic texture. In the glass, it presents an intense ruby color, enriched by garnet reflections with aging. The olfactory profile opens with scents of withered rose, violet, and red fruits, accompanied by notes of sweet and slightly balsamic spices. On the palate, it reveals a solid structure, with silky tannins and a long persistence. Ideal paired with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, this Barbaresco expresses the elegance and tradition that characterize Fontanafredda.
