Prunotto's Barbera d'Asti DOCG is a wine that embodies the passion and expertise of one of the most representative wineries in Piedmont, an area known for the production of high quality wines. This wine is the result of the selection of Barbera grapes grown in the best wine-growing areas dedicated to this vine in the Asti region, where the soil and climate contribute to enhancing its varietal characteristics.

Prunotto's Barbera d'Asti has a brilliant ruby red color, with violet reflections that underline its liveliness. On the nose, the wine offers an intense and fruity bouquet, dominated by notes of cherry and plum, enriched by delicate hints of spices and a light trace of vanilla, the result of the balanced passage in wood which completes the aroma without overpowering it.

In the mouth, Prunotto's Barbera d'Asti reveals a balanced structure, supported by a pleasant acidity typical of the grape variety which gives freshness to the sip. The tannins are soft and well harmonized, contributing to a sensation of roundness and fullness. The finish is clean and persistent, with a pleasant return of fruity notes perceived on the nose.

This wine is extremely versatile at the table, capable of accompanying a wide range of dishes, from pasta with meat sauces to second courses of red and white meat, as well as medium-aged cheeses. Prunotto's Barbera d'Asti is also a wine that can be appreciated on its own, as a moment of pleasure and reflection.
