Sordo's Barolo DOCG is a prestigious red wine celebrated for its excellence and intensity, originating from the renowned hills of Piedmont, Italy. This wine is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, manually harvested from vineyards that benefit from optimal sun exposure and ideal soil conditions, characterized by calcareous marl and sands, which contribute to the wine's distinctive structure and complexity.

On the nose, Sordo's Barolo presents a complex and evocative bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, complemented by undertones of wilted rose, tobacco, and spices, like black pepper and cinnamon. This aromatic profile is further enhanced by meticulous aging in oak barrels for at least 24 months, adding elegant hints of vanilla and leather.

On the palate, the wine reveals its great structure and power, balanced by a fresh acidity and well-integrated tannins, promising significant aging potential. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering aftertaste that echoes the aromatic sensations, leaving a warm and enveloping sensation in the mouth.

Sordo's Barolo DOCG is ideal for accompanying rich and structured dishes, such as braised meats, stews, and game, but is equally magnificent enjoyed on its own, as a meditation wine. It is recommended for lovers of Piedmontese wines seeking a Barolo with excellent terroir expression and a strong identity.

Serve at a temperature of 18°C to fully highlight its qualities. Before consumption, it is recommended to decant the wine for at least an hour to allow all its aromatic and taste nuances to express themselves optimally.
