The Barolo DOCG Villero by Sordo is a distillation of elegance and tradition, hailing from one of the most renowned vineyards in the Barolo region. This wine is a true example of Piedmontese winemaking skill, perfectly matured to express all the nuances of the Villero terroir.

Its color is typically garnet with reflections that tend towards orange as the years go by. On the nose, it presents a broad and complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and plum emerge, enriched by elegant hints of violet and withered rose, complemented by aromas of tobacco, leather, and spices. On the palate, the Barolo Villero offers a robust and velvety structure, characterized by well-integrated tannins and a freshness that promises excellent aging potential.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures, followed by a long aging period in large oak barrels for at least 30 months, with further maturation in the bottle. This process gives the wine its remarkable complexity and structure.

Ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Villero by Sordo is also perfect as a meditation wine. Its aromatic richness and balance make it an excellent example of Barolo, capable of evolving splendidly for many years to come. A must for wine lovers seeking a deep sensory experience rich in history.
