The Bila-Haut L'Esquerda - M. Chapoutier is a distinctive red wine that comes from the Roussillon region of France, an area known for its diversity of terroir and for producing wines of character and quality. M. Chapoutier is one of the most respected and innovative wineries in France, with a history that extends over several generations, and which has stood out for its production philosophy based on the utmost respect for the terroir and the adoption of biodynamic practices.

Esquerda is a wine that expresses with strength and clarity the unique characteristics of its specific terroir, located in one of the most evocative and particular areas of Roussillon. The name "L'Esquerda" comes from Catalan and means "the crack", referring to the rocky and rugged nature of the soil from which the grapes come. This terroir gives the wine a marked minerality and a notable aromatic complexity.

Produced mainly with Syrah, Grenache and Carignan grapes, Bila-Haut L'Esquerda has a deep and intense red color. On the nose, the wine offers a rich bouquet of aromas, where notes of ripe black fruits, spices, aromatic Mediterranean herbs and mineral hints stand out, which together create a complex and inviting olfactory profile.

In the mouth, the wine is powerful but balanced, with well-structured tannins that support a rich expression of fruit and spice. The acidity is well integrated, contributing to a freshness that balances the power of the wine and prolongs its finish, leaving persistent sensations of fruit and terroir in the mouth.

Ideal in combination with intense dishes such as grilled red meats, stews, lamb dishes and mature cheeses, the Bila-Haut L'Esquerda - M. Chapoutier is a wine that stands out for its ability to tell the story and the peculiarity of Roussillon, resulting at the same time accessible and with great tasting depth.
