Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Vigna 2019 Marrucheto Banfi is an excellence enclosed in Jéroboam format, synonymous with great prestige and longevity. Produced in the renowned area of Montalcino, the heart of Tuscany, this wine is made exclusively from pure Sangiovese grapes, cultivated in the homonymous vineyard that benefits from a unique terroir, characterized by clay soil and an ideal climate for balanced ripening.



The aging, carried out mainly in oak barrels, gives the wine a enveloping and complex structure, with notes of ripe cherry, plum, sweet spices and slight earthy hints intertwined with a delicate balsamic vein. On the palate it is elegant, full, with fine tannins and a vibrant acidity that promises long aging. Perfect paired with red meats, game and aged cheeses, it is a sensory journey into the most authentic Tuscan traditions.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
