The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Vigna La Casaccia" by Canalicchio Di Sopra is a wine that embodies the maximum expression of the Montalcino territory and of the Sangiovese grape variety, from which it is produced in purity. This specific wine, coming from the single vineyard "La Casaccia", represents one of the jewels of the cellar, expressing a unique combination of power, elegance and complexity, the result of the particular pedoclimatic conditions of the vineyard and the careful and respectful approach of Canalicchio Di Sopra in winemaking and ageing.

The "La Casaccia" vineyard is located in a privileged position within the Brunello di Montalcino area, characterized by rich soils and an ideal microclimate which contribute to giving the wine an aromatic richness and a prominent tannic structure. Canalicchio Di Sopra, with its long history and dedication to quality, uses sustainable viticultural practices and winemaking methods that aim to preserve the integrity of the fruit and the expression of the terroir.

Following the production specifications of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, "Vigna La Casaccia" is aged for a minimum period of five years, of which at least two years in wooden barrels. This long maturation process not only contributes to the complexity of the wine, but also enhances its aging capacity, making "La Casaccia" a wine capable of evolving beautifully for many years in the cellar.

The wine has an intense ruby red color, which tends to turn towards garnet shades with aging. On the nose, "Vigna La Casaccia" offers a broad aromatic spectrum, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, spices, tobacco and balsamic nuances, which intertwine in a complex and inviting bouquet. The winemaking and aging practices help add layers of aromatic depth, with hints of vanilla and leather emerging thanks to the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine reveals its true greatness, with a solid structure supported by ripe and well-integrated tannins, and a lively acidity that gives freshness and length to the sip. The richness of the palate is expressed through intense and persistent flavors, with an impeccable balance that leads to a long and memorable finish.

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG "Vigna La Casaccia" by Canalicchio Di Sopra is an extraordinary wine for special occasions, ideal for accompanying rich and structured dishes such as roasted red meats, game and mature cheeses. Its complexity and ability to age also make it an excellent candidate for any passionate collector's cellar.
