Champagne Brut Nature 2011 by Pierre Charlot & Fils is born from the strict selection of typical grape varieties from the Champagne region, with a masterful balance between Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier. This vintage represents the year with an authentic and sincere expression of the territory around Vertus, the beating heart of the Côte des Blancs.
The winemaking method follows the classic tradition, with a second fermentation in the bottle that defines the soul of the champagne. The absence of dosage (Brut Nature means no sugar added after disgorging) gives an unusual purity, highlighting the freshness and finesse of the bubbles. The long aging on the lees, which exceeds ten years, provides complexity and a creamy texture, while the aromas open with notes of bread crust, dried fruit, and candied citrus.
On the palate, a vibrant and mineral structure emerges, with a persistent and decidedly dry finish that reflects the great personality of this champagne. Exceptional paired with seafood or as a sophisticated aperitif, it is a glass that tells the elegance and purity of Champagne in its most natural form.
