Elegant and concrete, this Brut Premier Cru Selection Blanc de Blancs from Marie Le Brun - Folonari expresses the typical clarity of blanc de blancs: citrus profiles (lemon and lime), white flowers and a subtle trace of bread crust that enriches the aromatic picture without being intrusive. Medium-bodied, it shows a well-calibrated balance between lively acidity and mineral sapidity; the bubbles are fine and well integrated, giving a creamy texture that supports the sip and extends the clean finish.

In the glass it delivers clean, direct sensations, with pleasant persistence and a saline aftertaste that invites a second taste. It pairs naturally with seafood starters, oysters and sashimi, but also stands up to crustacean dishes and light preparations with cream or butter; perfect as an aperitif wine in magnum for convivial dinners. Serve at around 8-10 °C in a flute or sparkling wine glass to appreciate the effervescence, aromatic finesse and freshness that characterize this bottle.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
