With a luminous salmon-pink hue, this Brut Rosé Millésimé shows a fine, lively perlage that supports a clean, inviting bouquet: wild strawberries, ripe raspberries and a citrus note that cleanses the palate, with a subtle floral hint in the background. On the palate it is saline and well-balanced, with fresh acidity that structures the drink without weighing it down; the texture remains elegant, with a barely perceptible tannic sensation that aids the lasting finish. The overall impression is one of precision and restraint, suited to those seeking a rosé with character but without exuberance.
On the palate the bubbles are creamy and the drive taut, the length pleasant and well defined; it serves both as a refined aperitif and as a gastronomic match with raw seafood, delicate tartares, smoked salmon or poultry dishes with fruity notes. Serve chilled, around 8-10 °C, in glasses that enhance the aromatic evolution to capture its freshness and salinity. An excellent companion for moments when you seek a balance between substance and lightness.

The winery
Champagne Louis Roederer
ChampagneFranciaSince 1776
Champagne house based in Reims, renowned for its prestige cuvée Cristal and for direct control over much of its fruit through estate-owned vineyards. Strong commitment to organic and biodynamic practices.
- Grape varieties
- Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier
- Cristal: a prestige cuvée created in 1876, the symbol of the house.
- Approximately 240 hectares of estate vineyards, distributed across 410 parcels in the main terroirs of Champagne.
- Parcel-by-parcel approach to winemaking and extended maturation in the cellar.
- A well-established commitment to organic and biodynamic practices; significant portions of the vineyard have been converted to organic and biodynamic farming.
- Annual production of approximately 3.5 million bottles, with a broad international presence.
The story
The house dates back to the 18th century: the business began as a small négociant and over time was inherited and renamed by Louis Roederer. In the 19th century the maison consolidated its position in foreign markets and in 1876 created its flagship cuvée, Cristal, at the request of Tsar Alexander II. During the 20th century and in recent years the family continued to expand the vineyards and the group also acquired other international wine estates.
Production philosophy
Priority is given to grape quality and respect for the land: parcel-by-parcel winemaking, extended cellar ageing, and a growing focus on sustainable viticulture. In recent decades the estate has begun converting to organic and biodynamic practices to enhance the terroir and biodiversity.
Terroir and vineyards
Estate-owned vineyards spread across the Champagne Grands Crus, notably the Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs; headquarters and principal winery in Reims.
