The Chardonnay Alto Adige DOC from the Cantina Roveré della Luna Aichholz is a true gem for connoisseurs of quality white wines. This wine is produced in the heart of the Italian Alps, a region particularly appreciated for its unique terroir and ideal climatic conditions that allow the cultivation of exceptionally high-quality Chardonnay grapes.

With a bright straw yellow color, this Chardonnay presents itself on the nose with an elegant and complex bouquet. Clear notes of ripe fruits such as apple and peach can be perceived, with a slight touch of vanilla and butter, given by the aging in barriques. On the palate, the wine reveals a balanced yet soft and enveloping structure, with a lively acidity that emphasizes its freshness.

This Chardonnay is ideal as an aperitif or to accompany fish and seafood dishes. It is also excellent with chicken or turkey dishes flavored with herbs. The Cantina Roveré della Luna Aichholz, known for its dedication to quality and sustainability, gives this wine a purity and expression of the territory that are difficult to find in other similar products.

Winery history
Founded as a cooperative in 1919, the winery grew from a base of local members and in 1953 moved its headquarters to Roverè della Luna. Today it brings together approximately 300 local winegrowers and represents over a century of activity tied to viticulture at the border between Trentino and South Tyrol.
Production philosophy
The winery combines respect for the land and for its member growers with an approach that blends tradition and innovation: showcasing local varieties by choosing the most suitable site for each grape variety and producing wines that are distinctive of the territory, including Trentodoc sparkling wines made using the Classic Method.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards extend over the alluvial cone of Roverè della Luna and across the area between Trentino and South Tyrol, on varied soils at altitudes ranging approximately from 200 to 950 metres. The territory is characterised by the Piana Rotaliana/Valdadige and by pronounced diurnal temperature variations typical of the Dolomites.
