The Chassagne Montrachet Les macherelles 2020 - François Carillon is born in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, one of the most prestigious areas of Burgundy, famous for its highly refined whites. This wine is produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes, grown on a terroir characterized by an extraordinary exposure and limestone-clay soils that provide structure and minerality.
The winemaking method favors the natural expression of the fruit and terroir, with fermentation in French oak barrels and aging lasting about 12 months, during which the wine gains softness and complexity without losing freshness and vivacity. In the glass, it shows a bright straw-yellow color, while on the nose it opens with intense aromas of white-fleshed fruit, floral notes, and light buttery and mineral nuances.
On the palate, it is elegant and harmonious, with good acidic pressure that supports the full and enveloping body, leaving a long persistence. The Chassagne Montrachet Les macherelles 2020 pairs wonderfully with refined fish dishes, shellfish, and soft cheeses, enhancing every bite with its sophistication.
