Descrizione

Ripe red fruit that fades into balsamic notes and a light sweet spice, supported by a barely perceptible floral tone. On the palate it shows good depth and a fresh-savory balance; the tannin is present, fine and well integrated, setting the pace without weighing it down, while the finish remains pronounced and well articulated. It is a wine that conveys precision and composure, aimed at those seeking a Chianti Classico with great presence without sacrificing elegance. Its structure supports robust yet classic pairings: red meats, stews, game, and aged cheeses find an excellent counterpart in its flavorful texture.

In a Jeroboam bottle it develops more slowly, so a brief contact with air before serving enhances its opening; serve at around 18 °C. It is also perfect for those who wish to cellar it for a few years, allowing the aromatic and tannic components to harmonize further.

Winery history

The estate retains a historic cellar connected to the ancient castle of Lamole, dating from the 14th century, while the estate as a modern operation developed in the post-war period. In recent years the historic structure has been complemented by more modern production facilities and by the enhancement of single-vineyard sites.

Production philosophy

Enhancing the territorial expression of Chianti Classico through attentive vineyard care and sustainable practices. Since 2005 the estate has embarked on a conversion to organic vineyard management, focusing on organic practices and respect for natural cycles.
