More questions

The Cornas "Les Sept Pierres" is a rare gem of French oenology, produced in the renowned region of the Vallée du Rhône. This red wine is distinguished by its robust character and aromatic complexity. Made exclusively from Syrah grapes, the vineyards from which it originates are located on steep terrains, giving the wine an unmistakable quality and unique concentration.

On the nose, Cornas presents deep notes of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries and plums, mixed with nuances of black pepper and sweet spices resulting from careful maturation in barriques. On the palate, the wine is full and velvety, with well-structured tannins that promise excellent aging. The wine's finesse is completed by a long persistence on the palate, with a finish that leaves space for mineral touches and a slight trace of dark chocolate.

"Les Sept Pierres" is a wine that requires patience, capable of evolving beautifully in the cellar. Ideal to pair with rich dishes such as meat stews, game, and aged cheeses, this wine is an authentic expression of its terroir, sure to captivate lovers of the great reds from the Vallée du Rhône.

The winery

Les Sept Pierres

Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (Ardèche)FranciaSince 2011

A winemaking project highlighting the seven appellations of the Ardèche, with vinification carried out at Mas Héritage and limited direct sales.
Grape varieties
Syrah, Viognier, Gamay, Grenache, Cinsault, Sauvignon
  • A project bringing together seven appellations from Ardèche.
  • Headquarters and winemaking linked to Mas Héritage
  • A range that includes wines from Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Saint-Péray, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Vivarais and Coteaux de l'Ardèche
  • Boutique "Alchimie" and export activities mentioned by the producer.
  • Local recognition: endorsement/approval of some cuvées by the 'Goûtez l'Ardèche' brand.
The story
The project began in the early 2010s. Activities developed with the establishment at Mas Héritage and the first plantings in 2012; the first "7 Pierres" wines were vinified with the support of Pierre Mollier, and the "Alchimie" boutique opened in 2014. In 2017 a traditional winemaking cellar was created at Mas Héritage, followed by commercial developments and exports.
Production philosophy
To showcase the richness and diversity of Ardèche terroirs by bringing together seven appellations under a single project: placing freshness, softness and fruit character at the center, with a strong focus on Syrah as the unifying thread and technical influences drawn from meetings with local oenologists and vignerons.
Terroir and vineyards
A producer rooted in Ardèche that works with grapes from several local appellations — Cornas, Saint-Joseph, Condrieu, Saint-Péray, Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Vivarais and Coteaux de l'Ardèche — grown on often-granitic soils and the terraced vineyards typical of the area.
Awards and recognition
Four cuvées from 7 Pierres are approved/evaluated by 'Goûtez l'Ardèche'.
