The Côtes du Rhone Rouge Rasteau from Cave de Cairanne is a robust wine with an intense character, coming from one of the most renowned sub-regions of the Rhône Valley. Made primarily with Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes, it expresses the territory through its complex and enveloping bouquet. The aging in steel and, in some cases, wood, provides a balance between fruity freshness and tannic structure. On the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits, Mediterranean spices, and a slight balsamic note emerge, anticipating a full and persistent sip, with a pleasant mineral note on the finish. This medium-bodied red pairs perfectly with roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses, highlighting the wine tradition of Rasteau and the craftsmanship of Cave de Cairanne. An ideal choice for those who love authentic wines deeply rooted in their terroir.
