This Gewurztraminer Sélection de Grains Nobles “S” 2008 from Famille Hugel represents an excellence of Alsace, a region famous for its aromatic wines that deeply reflect the unique terroir of these vineyard slopes. Obtained from carefully selected grapes affected by botrytis cinerea, or noble rot, this white wine stands out for its extraordinary concentration and organoleptic complexity.

In the glass, it presents an intense golden color, while on the nose it releases enveloping aromas of lychee, rose petals, oriental spices, and notes of honey that intertwine harmoniously. On the palate, it is rich, elegant, and velvety, with a sweetness balanced by a fresh acidity that gives depth and longevity to the sip.

The aging takes place in steel and traditional barrels, preserving the purity of the fragrances and the typicality of the Gewurztraminer variety, known for its aromaticity and structure. This nectar is ideal to pair with refined dishes such as foie gras, blue cheeses, or desserts based on dried fruit, enhancing their richness and elegance. A true masterpiece that celebrates the greatness of Alsatian viticulture.
