The Lagrein Taber Alto Adige DOC from Cantina Bozen is a red wine that modestly conveys the character of the Lagrein grape and the freshness of the Alto Adige terroir. Deep ruby in color, it offers an aromatic profile recalling ripe berries, cherry and floral notes, accompanied by a subtle spiciness. On the palate it is full-bodied and well balanced, with present but well-integrated tannins and a pleasant salinity that supports the finish. It suits those seeking a straightforward, honest wine without artifice.

It pairs with regional dishes such as grilled meats, stews and medium-aged cheeses, and also stands up to mushroom dishes or rich sauces. Serve at a moderate temperature to appreciate its freshness and drinkability; it is an everyday offering from Cantina Bozen for those who want a Lagrein representative of the Alto Adige DOC designation. It can also accompany legume-based dishes and flavorful white meats, and may benefit from brief decanting.
