The Marsala Vergine DOP - Soleras Dry by Pellegrino 1880 is a wine rich in tradition and character, reflecting the excellence and history of Sicilian winemaking. Produced by the historic Pellegrino winery, founded in 1880 in Marsala, this label represents an emblematic example of Marsala Vergine DOP, a designation reserved for the purest and most aged wines of the region.

This wine is made exclusively with local grapes, following the traditional Soleras method, an aging system that involves the use of barrels from different vintages to achieve a final product of great complexity. The Marsala Soleras Dry is distinguished by its bright light amber color, which hints at a unique aromatic richness.

To the nose, the bouquet is intensely aromatic, with notes of dried fruits such as figs and nuts, enriched by hints of tobacco and vanilla, due to the long maturation in wood. On the palate, the wine is dry, with a robust structure and a surprising balance between alcohol and acidity. The olfactory sensations of nutty fruits and sweet spices blend with a long and persistent finish, leaving room for reflections on complex tertiary aromas.

Perfect as a meditation wine, the Marsala Vergine DOP - Soleras Dry by Pellegrino 1880 is also ideal to accompany hearty dishes, aged cheeses, or as a refined completion at the end of a meal. A true gem for lovers of dry and aromatic dessert wines, this Marsala is capable of offering a deeply satisfying and memorable tasting experience.
