The Merlot di Vistorta DOC in Jeroboam format from the Vistorta Agricultural Company is a true expression of greatness, not only for the imposing size of the bottle but also for the quality and depth of the wine contained. Coming from the renowned Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, this Merlot represents the pinnacle of the company's production, which is committed to making wines that faithfully express the unique character of their terroir.

The choice of the Jeroboam format, equivalent to four standard bottles, is not only a statement of elegance and celebration but also a decision that positively influences the evolution of the wine, offering a slower and more gradual maturation. This format is ideal for special occasions, allowing Vistorta Merlot to be shared generously, making every moment of tasting unforgettable.

Vistorta Merlot is known for its aromatic intensity and balanced structure. The Merlot vine, grown in the fertile and well-exposed lands of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, here develops a complexity and roundness that make it unmistakable. The careful vinification and aging in wood contribute to creating a wine of extraordinary elegance and depth, with silky tannins and an aromatic bouquet that ranges from ripe red fruit to spicy and balsamic notes.

On the nose, Vistorta Merlot reveals a wide range of aromas, which include notes of cherry, plum, tobacco and chocolate, enriched with earthy and vegetal nuances that testify to the richness of the terroir. In the mouth, the wine satisfies with its generosity, offering a perfect balance between power and finesse, with a long and persistent finish that leaves a lasting impression.

Serving Vistorta DOC Merlot in Jeroboam format during a banquet or celebration not only adds a touch of grandeur to the event but also allows diners to appreciate the evolution of the wine over the course of the evening, discovering new nuances and depths with every sip .

Winery history
Vistorta is a village estate run by the Brandolini family for generations. The transformation into a modern agricultural estate is credited to Guido Brandolini, who completed the estate buildings in 1872. In the years that followed the property was restored and, from the end of the 20th century, Brandino Brandolini relaunched wine production, focusing on a great Merlot and on wines of character.
Production philosophy
The estate combines landscape conservation and extensive farming with focused winemaking choices: careful vinification with particular attention to the Merlot grape and the gradual adoption of organic and soil-regenerating practices, while maintaining crop rotations and low-impact interventions.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in Sacile, Friuli Venezia Giulia, on predominantly clay-limestone soils in the plain at the foot of the Friulian foothills. The property covers over 200 hectares in total, with vineyards on separate parcels where Merlot finds its most representative expression.
