The Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC Praesulis from the Gumphof winery is a white wine of character that reflects the area's identity. It shows a luminous straw color; on the nose it opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, green apple and pear, accompanied by citrusy nuances and a mineral note that adds lift. On the palate it displays balance between freshness and softness, with well-calibrated acidity and restrained body; the finish is clean and recalls the initial fruity aromas.

For serving we recommend a cool temperature, around 8–10 °C, to highlight liveliness and aromas. It is suitable as an aperitif and pairs well with fish dishes, shellfish, composed salads and delicate white meats; it also stands up to vegetable dishes and fresh cheeses. It is advisable to drink it young to enjoy its freshness, although it can be kept for a few years in suitable conditions. The mouthfeel is smooth and invites a second glass.
