The quality recognized in the wines of Piera 1899 is the result of a daily commitment which translates into maximum sustainability of processes and production choices aimed at minimum environmental impact. In 1998 the company introduces the first line of organic wines.
The harvest takes place between August and September; Land grapes are then subjected to a soft pressing and subsequently to a white vinification with a fermentation of the must at a temperature of 17 ° - 18 ° C. Stop the wine on the fine deposit at about 12 ° - 13 ° until spring to obtain a softer and more complex structure.
In the chalice it has a cintense and brilliant straw yellow color. On the nose the bouquet is elegant with hints of orange blossom and fruity and fresh notes of apple, pear and exotic fruit with slight nuances of dried fruit. On the palate, the acidity compensates for the softness and allows the fullness of the gustatory balance to be achieved.
An excellent white wine to accompany tasty seafood appetizers, seafood risottos, fish soups and stewed cod.
