Primitivo Salento IGP 12 e mezzo Magnum by Varvaglione is a red wine that expresses all the richness and beauty of the Apulian land. Obtained from Primitivo grapes, a native variety of this territory, this wine has an intense ruby red color and purple reflections. On the nose, a complex bouquet emerges with notes of ripe red fruit, including cherry, plum and blackberry, enriched by delicate nuances of sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, resulting from the aging in wood.

In the mouth it stands out for its enveloping and well-structured body, with soft tannins that give a velvety sensation to the palate. The good acidity, perfectly balanced with the alcohol content, gives freshness and persistence, making the sip balanced and satisfying. The fruity notes perceived on the nose are also found on the palate, enriched by nuances of dark chocolate and liquorice, which enhance its complexity.

The Magnum format is ideal for dinners and events with friends, where this Primitivo will win over guests thanks to its pleasantness and elegant intensity. Excellent in combination with red meats, game and mature cheeses, Varvaglione's 12 e mezzo represents an oenological excellence that pays homage to the winemaking traditions of Salento.
