Blessed Enrico is the spearhead of Tenuta Santini, its name is a dedication to the Hungarian nobleman Enrico declared Blessed, a pilgrim who died of fever in front of the cell of the Madonna di Passano in Coriano, province of Rimini.
In the very first vinification of this label were used grapes from vines of two primitive Sangiovese that managed to overcome a particularly difficult year. The Beato Enrico is a pure Sangiovese born from a clone of the Frà Lorenzo vineyard tradition that gives a large compact bunch with a very concentrated flavor.
The fermentation and maceration phases are carried out in steel at a controlled temperature, the refinement takes place half in steel and half in third-passage barriques. It is bottled the year following the date of harvest.
An excellent wine with an intense red color, with a dense and enveloping texture, a mature label with characteristic notes.
It can be enjoyed with the important dishes of the Romagna tradition such as lasagna and pappardelle with meat sauce, as well as being excellent with tripe and game in general.
