Small-berry Sangiovese vinified in a cement tank and then aged for 12-24 months in large oak barrels, followed by 3 months of bottle refinement. Ruby garnet color, the nose is complex, with evident spicy notes, coffee, chocolate, wild berries, and cherries. On the palate, it is balanced, well-structured, elegant, with a very long and soft finish well supported by lively tannins.
