The Sicilia Nero d'Avola DOC by Planeta, coming from the homonymous region, intensely expresses the strength and personality of Sicily's most representative indigenous grape variety. Cultivated in vineyards located in particular terroirs of the island, this Nero d’Avola stands out for its intense ruby red color and a complex bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and a hint of licorice emerge.

The wine matures in selected wooden barrels that enhance its robustness without overpowering it, maintaining a balance between structure and softness. On the palate, it reveals a fine, enveloping tannic texture, with a pleasant freshness that makes it slender and harmonious. Perfect paired with typical Sicilian dishes such as roasted meats, aged cheeses, and eggplant-based preparations, this interpretation well represents the dynamism and winemaking tradition of the island.
