Sof Rosé of Tenuta del Nicchio is a sublime example of freshness and vitality enclosed in a glass, typical of the elegance of Tuscan rosé wines. Coming from the famous Tuscany region, this IGT best expresses the character of the native grape varieties, skillfully vinified to maintain a brilliant harmony between structure and lightness.

Sof Rosé stands out for a pale pink color, bright and inviting, which anticipates a fragrant and refined olfactory complexity. On the nose, scents of small red fruits, such as wild strawberries and cherries, can be perceived, accompanied by light floral notes and a hint of citrus that provide freshness. On the palate, it is balanced, with a pleasant acidity that makes drinking smooth and persistent, while the finish is delicately savory.

The refined aging method, probably in steel to preserve its purity, enhances the freshness and naturalness of the grape, making this rosé ideal to accompany appetizers, fish dishes, and white meats. Sof Rosé is the perfect synthesis of a territory that celebrates tradition and modernity with style and simplicity.

Country: Italia
Grapes: Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Ciliegiolo
A project by Lodovico Antinori and his daughter Sophia, with shared technical and oenological management. Strong focus on Cabernet Franc and a lighter, more refined style. Vineyards in the Alta Maremma between Bibbona, Bolgheri, Donoratico and Castagneto Carducci. Deliberately limited production; maximum indicated: 33,000 bottles. Notable ranges: Lodovico, Il Nicchio, Le 2 Ville; there is also a rosé called Sof.
Winery history
Tenuta del Nicchio is a recent project by Lodovico Antinori, carried forward together with his daughter Sophia. The vineyards, reclaimed from parcels long left uncultivated in the Tuscan Maremma, have been progressively restored to cultivation to produce wines with a clearly defined territorial identity. Technical management involves external professionals, while the family oversees commercial activity and brand image.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of finesse and a strong sense of place with limited production: the estate favors early harvests and parcel-by-parcel work to produce more elegant, characterful wines, focusing on varieties such as Cabernet Franc and on measured aging.
Terroir and vineyards
Alta Maremma, near Bibbona and Bolgheri. Vineyards lie in parcels a few kilometres from the sea, with vines on north-facing slopes and on steeper, terraced plots.
