Piera1899 is one of the reference wineries in the North East of Italy; the company has always been devoted to one goal: to obtain the best possible quality in wines characterized by pleasantness and pairing, able to compete with the greatest winemaking traditions in the world.
The harvest of this Chardonnay begins in the second ten days of September. The grapes harvested at the right degree of ripeness, are de-stemmed and subjected to a short cold maceration for one night and following soft pressing. The must obtained ferments at a temperature of 16 ° -18 ° C which lasts for about 25/30 days. The maturation continues in steel tanks, on the fine deposit for about 6/7 months with frequent bâtonnage.
In the chalice it has a cintense and brilliant straw yellow color, with golden hues. The nose infuses fruity notes of apple, pear and especially pineapple. On the palate it denotes freshness and balance, it presents hints of dried fruit such as walnut and hazelnut, on a base of honey notes.
A wine that tells the quintessence of a territory steeped in knowledge, beauty and traditions; a glass of excellent quality during an aperitif, paired with first courses of fish, with courses based on white meats, crustaceans and molluscs.
