The Veronese Rosso IGT "Calinverno" produced by Monte Zovo is a wine that encapsulates the essence of the Veronese territory, expertly highlighting the typical grape varieties of the region. Presented in an elegant wooden case and the prestigious Rehoboam bottle, which contains 4.5 liters of wine, this red is ideal for special occasions and collectors.

"Calinverno" is born from a meticulous selection of hand-harvested grapes, predominantly featuring varieties like Corvina and Rondinella, which are typical of the Veronese blend. The care in vinification is evident in the glass: the wine is aged in oak barriques, allowing a maturation that enhances its complexity and structure.

Visually, the Veronese Rosso "Calinverno" presents a deep, inviting ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex and seductive bouquet with notes of ripe red fruits like cherry and raspberry, enriched by hints of sweet spices, chocolate, and a slight balsamic touch, providing that freshness characteristic of well-structured wines.

On the palate, the wine is rich and enveloping, with a perfect balance between acids and tannins. Its velvety texture and persistent notes of fruit and spices make it an ideal companion for robust dishes such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. Additionally, this wine has remarkable aging potential, making it an excellent candidate for adding to a collection of fine wines.

Monte Zovo's "Calinverno" is a specimen that celebrates Italian winemaking tradition with a touch of modernity and sophistication, representing a memorable gift or a valuable addition for any wine enthusiast.
