Volnay Villages "Les Grands Poisots" by Domaine de Bellene is a wine that expresses with elegance and precision the distinctive qualities of Pinot Noir grown in the Volnay terroir, one of the most celebrated appellations of the Côte de Beaune, in Burgundy. Domaine de Bellene, guided by the vision of winemaker and winemaker Nicolas Potel, is known for its production philosophy focused on respecting terroir and using sustainable viticultural practices to produce wines that reflect the pure essence of their environment.

"Les Grands Poisots" refers to a specific vineyard parcel in Volnay, characterized by calcareous and marly soil, ideal for the cultivation of Pinot Noir. This particular location, combined with careful management of the vineyard, allows us to obtain high quality grapes, which convey in the wine the finesse, complexity and depth typical of the best Volnay.

The winemaking is carried out with the aim of preserving the varietal characteristics and the identity of the terroir. After a manual harvest and rigorous selection of the grapes, the fermentation process takes place with indigenous yeasts, to guarantee an authentic expression of the vineyard. The wine then matures in oak barriques, some of which are new, for an adequate period to integrate complexity and structure, while maintaining the elegance and finesse of Pinot Noir.

Visually, Volnay Villages "Les Grands Poisots" presents a brilliant ruby red color, with nuances that evolve towards garnet with aging. On the nose, it stands out for a rich and seductive bouquet, with notes of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and strawberries, floral accents of violets, and a delicate spiciness resulting from the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine offers an elegant and balanced structure, with fine tannins and lively acidity that contribute to a fresh and harmonious sip. The fruit flavors intertwine with mineral and earthy notes, typical of the Volnay terroir, leading to a long and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and complexity.

Ideal in combination with refined meat dishes, roast poultry, mushrooms and soft cheeses, the Volnay Villages "Les Grands Poisots" by Domaine de Bellene is a great value choice for enthusiasts of Burgundy wines, who look for l the expression of a specific terroir and the mastery of a producer who is attentive and respectful of the winemaking tradition of the region.
