The "Valpolicella Classico DOC" in Magnum format, presented in an elegant case by the Secondo Marco winery, represents an authentic and refined expression of the Valpolicella territory, one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas in Italy. This red wine stands out for its lively character and elegant structure, the result of careful vinification and rigorous selection of grapes.

Visually, Valpolicella Classico shows a brilliant ruby red color with violet reflections, a symbol of freshness and youth. On the nose, the bouquet is intensely aromatic, with a prevalence of fruity notes of cherry, raspberry and a light spiciness reminiscent of black pepper and cinnamon. There is no shortage of floral hints, which add a dimension of elegance and complexity.

In the mouth, the wine has a medium structure and soft tannins which make it accessible and pleasantly drinkable. The acidity is well balanced, supporting a range of flavors that reflects the nose, with a predominance of fresh red fruit and a touch of spice. The finish is clean and persistent, with a pleasant freshness that invites another sip.

The Magnum format of Valpolicella Classico makes it ideal for special occasions, perfect for sharing between friends and family. It pairs beautifully with classic Italian cuisine, such as pasta with meat sauce, mushroom risotto, and grilled red meats. It is also an excellent companion for medium-aged cheeses.

With its boxed packaging, this Valpolicella Classico DOC by Secondo Marco is an ideal gift for wine lovers or an elegant addition to any wine collection. An example that demonstrates how tradition can meet innovation to create wines of great pleasure and style.

Winery history
Secondo Marco is the personal project of Marco Speri, originated within the historic Speri family and established as an independent winery in 2008. The winery was founded to interpret Valpolicella according to Marco’s vision and taste, with a focus on grape selection and traditional techniques such as grape drying for Amarone.
Production philosophy
The winery aims to express the character of the terroir through an approach that combines tradition and research: careful vineyard management, hand selection of the bunches, use of appassimento and winemaking focused on preserving sapidity and the grape's aromas. For the Amarone, the winery states long, spontaneous fermentations without added yeasts. The emphasis is on organoleptic quality and territorial identity.
