The Etna DOC Rosso "Contrada Zottorinoto" produced by Cottanera represents an authentic expression of the volcanic territory of Etna, in Sicily. The Cottanera winery, with its passion and dedication, is committed to enhancing the unique characteristics of the native vines grown on the slopes of the highest active volcano in Europe.

This wine has an intense and lively ruby red color, characterized by garnet reflections that highlight its youth. On the nose, it offers a complex and intriguing bouquet, with intense notes of ripe berries, such as wild cherries and blackberries, accompanied by delicate hints of spices, aromatic herbs and a light earthy note, which recalls the characteristics of volcanic soil.

In the mouth, the Etna DOC Rosso "Contrada Zottorinoto" stands out for its elegance and freshness, with a well-defined structure and soft tannins that give the wine a harmonious balance. Lively acidity and minerality further highlight the complexity of the wine, leading to a persistent and pleasantly savory finish.

This extraordinary wine is the ideal companion to accompany a variety of Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine, such as roast meat, game, pasta with meat sauce, mature cheeses and mushroom dishes. Thanks to its versatility and complexity, it is also an excellent meditation wine, to be enjoyed in moments of relaxation and contemplation.
