The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO by Poggio Landi represents one of the most authentic and respectful expressions of the Montalcino territory, created following rigorous organic standards that guarantee its purity and enhance its varietal characteristics. Located on the hillside slopes of Montalcino, the Poggio Landi winery benefits from an ideal microclimate and rich soils that grant the wine remarkable complexity and a distinctive character.

This Brunello di Montalcino is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, manually selected to ensure the highest quality. After fermentation, the wine matures for an extended period in oak barrels, where it gains structure and harmony, evolving towards more complex and profound notes.

The color is an intense ruby red, with reflections that tend towards garnet as it ages. On the nose, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG BIO by Poggio Landi offers a rich bouquet of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and hints of tobacco and leather, developed during the maturation period in wood. On the palate, the structure is robust yet balanced, with fine tannins and a long and pleasantly complex aromatic persistence.

Best served at a temperature of around 18-20°C, this wine is ideal for accompanying rich dishes, such as red meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It also promises an extraordinary aging capability, able to evolve and improve in the bottle for many years.

The Jeroboam format presentation makes it a collector's item or an impressive gift for wine enthusiasts, offering an even more exclusive and memorable tasting experience. Poggio Landi continues to raise the standard of organic Brunello, producing wines that are not only a pleasure to the palate but also respectful of the environment and the integrity of their place of origin.

Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese (Sangiovese Grosso)
Approximately 60 hectares of vineyards, part of which is dedicated to Brunello. Wines made from Sangiovese grosso: Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and the cru "Chiuso del Lupo". Vineyards located between 175 and 550 m above sea level, with varied exposures and soils that ensure a diversity of sensory profiles. Management declared as organic-certified, with an approach designed to respect the terroir. Part of the ABFV project, along with other Tuscan estates.
Winery history
Poggio Landi is a wine project located in the Torrenieri area of Montalcino. The estate is part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards group, which brings together several Tuscan estates. The property has developed facilities including Villa Belvedere, the winery and a wine shop with a panoramic terrace, combining production with wine tourism hospitality.
Production philosophy
Production aims to enhance the territory and the biodiversity of the different exposures: wines with character that favor Sangiovese grosso, certified organic practices and winemaking techniques focused on expressing the cru.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the north‑eastern part of the Montalcino area, the estate harvests grapes from vineyards situated at approximately 175 to 550 metres above sea level. Soils are predominantly clayey; the variation in altitude and exposure is one of the factors used to obtain different Sangiovese profiles.
