Montepulciano dell'Arshura grapes grow at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level. With an average age of 35 years, the vines grow on predominantly clayey soils, giving the final product a strong character. The south/southwest exposure is optimal, guaranteeing constant exposure to the sun's rays along the row and ensuring perfect ripening of the grapes. The harvest, manual and carried out in the first ten days of October, is followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in the cellar thanks to the action of indigenous yeasts, which lasts for 15-20 days. The refinement period is 20 days before bottling.

Arshura has an intense ruby red color with brilliant reflections. Its aromatic bouquet is broad and recalls ripe fruit, sweet spices such as vanilla, carobs, tobacco and cinchona. In the mouth, the wine is lively, enveloping and dynamic, with well-integrated tannins.

Perfect in combination with grilled and stewed red meat dishes with polenta, as well as first courses seasoned with elaborate sauces. Also ideal with mature cheeses.
