The "Rosso Toscana IGT" from Orma of the Tenuta Sette Ponti is a true expression of winemaking excellence in Tuscany. This wine, originating from the famous wine region of Bolgheri, captures the essence of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grape varieties, offering a rich and complex sensory experience.

Visually, the Rosso Toscana IGT from Orma presents an intense and deep ruby red color that foretells the structure and intensity of the wine. On the nose, lively aromas of ripe fruit such as black cherries and plums are apparent, accompanied by nuances of sweet spices, dark chocolate, and a subtle hint of vanilla, evidencing an elegant aging in barriques.

On the palate, the olfactory promise is confirmed with a full, enveloping, and well-balanced mouthfeel. The acidity is well integrated with soft and velvety tannins, contributing to a persistent and harmonious finish. Fruity notes blend with accents of tobacco and leather, creating an aftertaste that invites a second tasting.

This wine pairs perfectly with hearty dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses, but it is also excellent on its own as a meditative drink, making it versatile for various occasions.

The Rosso Toscana IGT from Tenuta Sette Ponti is not just a wine, but a celebration of Tuscan terroir, ideal for those looking for a wine that offers both complexity and immediate drinkability, yet with aging potential. An excellent choice for lovers of quality Italian wines with character.

Tenuta Sette Ponti – Winery in Toscana

Discover the story and wines of Tenuta Sette Ponti.

Tuscan winery located in Castiglion Fibocchi (Valdarno di Sopra, Arezzo), known for high-quality wines such as Oreno (Bordeaux blend) and Crognolo (Sangiovese-based).
Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese
Oreno: flagship label, first vintage 1999; a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties planted on the estate at the direction of Antonio Moretti Cuseri. Crognolo: first released in 1998, an expression of the estate's Sangiovese. Vigna dell'Impero: a historic vineyard planted in 1935, vinified as a single-varietal and used for a cru of the estate. Vineyards managed under organic farming. Located at Via Sette Ponti 71, 52029 Castiglion Fibocchi.
Winery history
The estate is associated with the Moretti Cuseri family: the modern foundations of its winemaking activity were established in the 20th century with historic vineyards, including the 'Vigna dell’Impero' planted in 1935. In the 1990s the estate began producing its own wines with its first labels, and in recent years management has passed to the family's third generation. The name refers to the via dei sette ponti that links the banks of the Arno between Florence and Arezzo.
Production philosophy
A pursuit of quality and elegance, with a focus on respect for the land and agronomic practices: the vineyards are managed organically, as stated by the estate. The approach combines Tuscan tradition and experimentation.
Terroir and vineyards
Location: Castiglion Fibocchi, Valdarno di Sopra, a hilly area between Florence and Arezzo. The landscape is characterized by historic vineyards, woodlands and watercourses linked to the local history.
Awards and recognitions
