The Casalforte Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC by Riondo is a red wine that enchants with its extraordinary complexity and distinctive character. This wine represents a sublime expression of the Valpolicella territory, located in the Veneto region, famous for its robust and deeply aromatic wines.

The production process of Ripasso involves a second fermentation of the wine on the pomace of Amarone, giving this Ripasso a richer structure and intense aromatic notes. The Casalforte displays a deep ruby red color, promising a rich olfactory experience of ripe red fruits, delicate spices, and a slight touch of vanilla, derived from aging in wooden barrels.

On the palate, it is distinguished by its elegance and perfect balance. The presence of soft tannins blends beautifully with the freshness of the wine, resulting in a full and persistent sip. Notes of cherry, plum, and a hint of black pepper further enrich the taste profile of this wine.

With an alcohol content typically around 14%, the Casalforte Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC pairs splendidly with flavorful dishes such as braised meats, stews, and aged cheeses. It is also ideal as a meditative wine and is best served at a temperature of about 18°C to enhance all its qualities.

If you are looking for a wine that combines Venetian tradition with a contemporary and refined taste, the Casalforte Ripasso della Valpolicella DOC is certainly a choice that will satisfy the most demanding palates.
