The Brut Réserve of Pol Roger is an excellent example of the Champenoise tradition, produced in the renowned Champagne region of France. Made with a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, this champagne surprises with its elegant complexity and the stylistic finesse that characterizes every bubble. The aging in salmanazar, an imposing 9-liter bottle, in a wooden case contributes to a deeper aromatic development and a slow, delicate maturation, enhancing notes of bread crust, dried fruit, and white flowers.

On the nose, vivid scents of green apple, citrus, and a slight spiciness are perceived, making the sip pleasantly persistent, balanced by a brilliant acidity and a subtle, refined effervescent texture. Its harmonious and enveloping character makes it ideal for special occasions or as a classy aperitif. Brut Réserve accompanies excellently raw fish dishes, crustaceans, delicate white meats, and not overly aged cheeses, an added value to every celebratory toast and convivial moment.

Winery history
Founded in 1849 by Pol Roger, the house moved to Épernay in the early 1850s and is still managed by the family's descendants. During the 20th century the house consolidated its reputation, forging a historic link with Winston Churchill and developing a network of estate vineyards complemented by supplies selected from Grands e Premiers Crus. In recent decades the house has renovated its cellars and refreshed its image while maintaining traditional winemaking practices and long cellar aging.
Production philosophy
Pol Roger focuses on stylistic consistency and grape quality: separate vinifications by cru and variety, predominant use of steel and concrete, extended time on the lees and traditional riddling. Grape selection favors high-quality crus to preserve elegance, structure and finesse.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Épernay, it sources grapes from its own vineyards and from growers in the main Champagne areas, including Montagne de Reims, Vallée de la Marne and Côte des Blancs. The Maison uses grapes from selected Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites.
