Il Valpolicella Amarone Classico di Clementi è un vino rosso che incarna profondamente la tradizione enologica della regione del Veneto. Prodotto con uve selezionate di Corvina, Rondinella e Molinara, questo Amarone Classico passa attraverso il processo di appassimento, essicando le uve per alcuni mesi per concentrare i sapori e gli zuccheri.

Una volta vinificate, le uve producono un vino di straordinaria ricchezza e complessità. Il colore è un rosso intenso e profondo, quasi impenetrabile. Al naso, il Valpolicella Amarone Classico di Clementi sprigiona un bouquet vigoroso con note di frutta scura matura, come prugne e ciliegie, integrato da sfumature di spezie, cioccolato e un lieve tocco di tabacco. Il legno, utilizzato sapientemente durante l'invecchiamento, dona raffinati accenti di vaniglia e pepe nero.

In bocca, si presenta corposo e avvolgente, con una struttura tannica ben bilanciata che promette un'ottima longevità. I sapori ricchi di frutta e spezie sono ben integrati con una freschezza sorprendente che bilancia il palato. Il finale è lungo e persistente, segnato da una piacevole complessità aromatica che invita a un altro sorso.

Renovation of the winery and opening to sales in national and international markets from the 2000s onward.
Winery history
The business began with Pietro Clementi’s interest in viticulture. A lawyer from Verona, he purchased the property in Gnirega in 1969 and began making wine in a small home cellar. For years production was intended for family, friends and local events. In 2002 the winery was renovated to serve the national and international markets. Today management has passed to the second generation.
Production philosophy
Family-run production focused on respecting the land and Valpolicella’s traditional practices. The family is a member of the Federazione Italiana Vignaioli Indipendenti and of the Sistema di Qualità Nazionale per la Produzione Integrata, prioritizing on-site processing, hand harvesting and agronomic practices with reduced environmental impact.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Valpolicella Classica, the vineyards are southwest-facing on terraced hills with calcareous and clay soils. They sit at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters in a temperate, sheltered microclimate protected by the Monti Lessini.
