This Riserva edition represents the pinnacle of quality and expression of Sangiovese, selected from the best vineyard plots of Canalicchio Di Sopra, located in the idyllic hills of Montalcino.

The "Riserva" label in Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is reserved for wines of exceptional structure and complexity, with a minimum aging of six years before marketing, of which at least two years in wooden barrels, and further refinement in the bottle. This extended maturation period not only allows the wine to develop deep aromatic complexity and a richness of flavor, but also improves its aging ability, making Brunello Riserva ideal for long-term storage.

Presented in an elegant wooden case, the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva di Canalicchio Di Sopra is a treasure for wine lovers and collectors. The case not only protects the wine and ensures its integrity during aging, but adds aesthetic value and a sense of prestige, making it a perfect gift for special occasions or a significant addition to any cellar.

Visually, the wine stands out for its intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections that become more accentuated with aging. On the nose, Brunello Riserva offers a complex and inviting bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, plum, cherry and berries, enriched by shades of spices, leather, tobacco and balsamic hints, the result of refinement in wooden barrels and long maturation.

In the mouth, the wine expresses unparalleled power and elegance, with finely woven tannins and balanced acidity leading to a harmonious sip. The complexity of the palate reflects the nose, offering layers of ripe fruit, spicy and earthy notes, with a long, lingering finish that leaves a lasting impression.

The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Riserva by Canalicchio Di Sopra is a wine that pairs beautifully with intense and tasty dishes, such as roast meat, game, truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses. Its extraordinary complexity and depth also make it a magnificent meditation wine, to be tasted slowly to appreciate all its nuances. With its aging potential, this Brunello Riserva will continue to evolve, offering new tasting experiences for many years to come.
