Gaggiandre is a wine that the company decided to develop with the utmost respect for the environment and, like the other wines in the Venice line, it is presented in the iconic decorated bottle.
The Glera grapes used to produce it come from vines around 15 years old in the hilly area of Treviso, on predominantly clayey-stony soil. The harvest is carried out manually in September; the grapes brought to the cellar are softly pressed and the bases vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The new wine remains on its "noble lees" for about thirty days before being filtered and decanted into autoclaves for the secondary fermentation, where it is carefully managed to best preserve its aromas and aromas.
When poured, it has a beautiful pale straw yellow color and a fine and persistent perlage. Extremely fruity and floral aromas arrive on the nose; in the mouth the taste is decidedly harmonious and pleasant, very characteristic and dry.
Perfect as an aperitif, Gaggiandre is a sparkling wine that lends itself to being paired with delicately flavored first courses, also excellent with Asian cuisine. A great organic wine that preserves all the particular characteristics of the vine, a pure and sincere expression of the expert work of the Astoria winery.
