Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé is one of the most representative and appreciated white wines of the Loire Valley, France, known for its pure and intense expression of the Sauvignon Blanc grape. This wine originates from the vineyards located near Pouilly-sur-Loire, where the unique terroir, rich in marl and limestone with the presence of silica, gives the wine that typical minerality and that characteristic smoky aromatic profile that gives its name to the appellation " Smoked".

Baron De Ladoucette, renowned for his dedication to quality and precision in winemaking, helped raise the standard of Pouilly-Fumé, creating wines that are considered among the finest examples of Sauvignon Blanc worldwide. The winery's philosophy places great emphasis on sustainability and respect for the environment, with an approach that aims to enhance the varietal characteristics and peculiarities of the terroir.

Visually, Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé has a bright straw yellow color, with greenish reflections that underline its freshness. On the nose, the wine offers a wide aromatic spectrum: notes of citrus fruits, white pulp fruits such as green apple and melon, floral and vegetal nuances, and that distinctive "smoky" minerality that recalls sensations of flint and undergrowth.

In the mouth, the wine is characterized by a lively and well-integrated acidity, which gives Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé an elegant structure and notable aromatic persistence. The flavors of citrus and fresh fruit blend with mineral notes and a light herbaceous touch, culminating in a long and complex finish, with a pleasant freshness that invites another sip.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine is also an excellent accompaniment to a variety of dishes, particularly seafood, grilled fish, fresh goat cheese and vegetable dishes. Its versatility and pairing ability make it a perfect choice for special occasions or to elevate an everyday meal.

Baron De Ladoucette's Pouilly-Fumé represents a masterful interpretation of Sauvignon Blanc, offering a tasting experience that reflects the passion and craftsmanship of French viticulture, and underlining the indissoluble bond between the wine, its grape variety and its territory .
