The Franciacorta Satèn DOCG by Barone Pizzini represents an excellent expression of the Franciacorta region, famous for its ability to produce high-quality sparkling wines. This refined sparkling wine is produced exclusively with Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco grapes, carefully selected from the best vineyards of the winery.

Characterized by a delicate straw-yellow color with golden reflections, the Franciacorta Satèn by Barone Pizzini captivates the nose with an elegant and complex bouquet. The aroma weaves together floral notes of hawthorn and acacia, enriched by nuances of fresh fruit such as peach and citrus, and by a subtle hint of yeast, a result of long maturation on the lees.

On the palate, the wine is soft and velvety, typical of the Satèn style, which involves lower pressure and greater creaminess compared to other types of Franciacorta. The balanced acidity and fine perlage impart freshness and a pleasant persistence, making this sparkling wine particularly suitable as an aperitif or paired with delicate fish dishes and seafood.

Barone Pizzini Winery, a pioneer in organic viticulture in Franciacorta, guarantees an environmentally respectful production, emphasizing the purity and authenticity of the region. Therefore, the Franciacorta Satèn DOCG is an excellent choice for those looking for a quality wine produced with respect for nature and the terroir of origin.

Winery history
The Pizzini family has been connected to Franciacorta for generations; Amministrazione Agricola Pizzini dates back to 1870 and the estate was involved from the earliest stages in the development of the appellation. In the 1990s the company restructured, adopting a sustainability-focused model: conversion to organic viticulture began in the late 1990s and led to the first organic Franciacorta harvest in 2002. In the 2000s a new winery was built, designed according to sustainable building principles.
Production philosophy
An approach focused on organic farming, biodiversity conservation and reducing environmental impact. This philosophy is applied from vineyard to winery. The work aims to produce wines that express the terroir while respecting its natural balance.
Terroir and vineyards
Franciacorta, with vineyards around Provaglio d'Iseo; moraine soils and fluvio‑glacial deposits characterize the estate's various crus.
