Barolo DOCG - Terlo - Cagliero is an excellent expression of Nebbiolo, coming from the specific MGA (Additional Geographical Mention) Terlo, located in the prestigious Barolo wine area. The Cagliero winery, located in the heart of the Langhe, dedicates particular attention to the cultivation of this emblematic vine of Piedmont, creating wines that faithfully reflect the territory and tradition.

Barolo Terlo di Cagliero is characterized by its elegance, structure and depth, the result of the combination of an exceptional terroir and careful winemaking and aging techniques, which aim to preserve the identity and purity of the Nebbiolo grapes. The result is a wine that embodies the quintessence of Barolo, with a complexity and aging potential that make it one of the most appreciated in its category.

Visually, the wine has an intense garnet red color, with orange reflections that tend to accentuate with the evolution of time. On the nose, Barolo Terlo offers a complex and enveloping olfactory profile, with notes of ripe red fruit, dried flowers, spices and balsamic hints, enriched by nuances of tobacco and leather, a sign of careful maturation in wood.

In the mouth, the wine expresses a great structure, with robust but elegant tannins and a well-balanced acidity that contributes to a long tasting persistence. The flavors are in line with the olfactory sensations, evolving towards a persistent and complex finish, with a light mineral vein that adds further depth to the sip.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes, such as red meats, mushroom-based dishes, game and mature cheeses, the Barolo DOCG Terlo - Cagliero is also an excellent wine for contemplation, which benefits from prolonged aging to reveal all its facets and its evolution over time.
