The Gewurztraminer "Selida" DOC from Tramin winery is an aromatic white wine that promises a unique taste experience, typical of this vine variety native to Alto Adige, a region famously blessed for viticulture thanks to its ideal climate and fertile soil.

This wine stands out for its bright straw-yellow color with golden highlights. On the nose, the Gewurztraminer "Selida" opens with intense aromas of exotic fruit, including lychee, mango, and passion fruit, followed by delicate floral notes of rose and geranium, and a light touch of sweet spices like clove.

On the palate, this wine is rich and well-structured. Its smoothness is perfectly balanced by a fresh acidity, leading to a long and lingering finish, almost bewitching. This blend of sweetness and acidity makes the Gewurztraminer "Selida" extremely versatile: it can be enjoyed both as an aperitif and as a companion to spicy Asian cuisine, fish dishes, or blue cheeses.

Produced with meticulous attention to detail, the grapes are carefully selected and handpicked to ensure the highest quality of the fruit. After vinification, the wine briefly matures in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and intensity of the aromas.

The Gewurztraminer "Selida" from Tramin is therefore an excellent example of how tradition and innovation can meet to create a wine that respects its roots while being refreshingly contemporary. A true gem for lovers of aromatic and intense white wines.

Terroir and vineyards
The members' vineyards span several slopes of Alto Adige, at altitudes of approximately 250 to 850 metres, on calcareous and other soils that favour Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer and other grape varieties typical of the area. The headquarters is in Termeno/Tramin, in the wine-growing belt near Lake Caldaro.
