The "Trento Brut Riserva DOC - Methius" from Dorigati winery, packaged in prestigious MAGNUM sizes, represents one of the most exclusive sparkling wines from the Trentino wine tradition. This sparkling wine is produced following the stringent traditional method, which includes a second fermentation in the bottle, and features a selected blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes, grown in mountain valleys where the cool, breezy climate enhances their innate aromatic qualities.

Visually, Methius presents a bright straw-yellow color with a fine and persistent perlage, foretelling the quality and complexity of the sip. On the nose, it reveals a complex and mature bouquet, with notes of white-fleshed fruit, fresh yeast, and hints of toasted almond, derived from many years of maturation on the yeasts.

On the palate, the Brut Riserva DOC expresses a strong and well-structured personality. It stands out for its vibrant freshness and balanced creaminess, coupled with a persistent finish that closes with flavors of bread crust and mineral nuances. These characteristics make it particularly suited for accompanying refined appetizers, seafood-based dishes, or as the star of an important toast.

In conclusion, the Trento Brut Riserva DOC "Methius" from Dorigati winery, in the MAGNUM format, is not only a symbol of celebration but also an expression of a mountainous region rich in history and wine tradition, perfect for lovers of high-quality sparkling wines seeking unique and memorable tasting experiences.

Winery history
The Dorigati family has been active in Mezzocorona for generations: the company traces its origins to 1858 and developed as a family-run business dedicated to viticulture in the Piana Rotaliana. The current premises at Via Dante 5 date back to the early 20th century, with later extensions and a winery renovation completed in 1998. In the 1980s the winery also launched the Methius project, a Trento DOC Metodo Classico reserve.
Production philosophy
The winery focuses on territorial identity and quality: traditional viticultural practices, cluster selection and winemaking designed to bring out the character of the individual vineyards of the Piana Rotaliana and the pedemontane hills. It produces both 'classic' wines tied to the territory and Metodo Classico sparkling wines, with attention to artisanal process management.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are concentrated in the Piana Rotaliana and on the foothill slopes of Mezzocorona, with some plots associated with specific crus, such as the 'Bagolari' vineyard. Some Traditional Method cuvées come from hilly areas such as Faedo and Pressano; the soils include fluvial and glacial deposits typical of the area.
