The Pignoletto Brut Metodo Classico Laetus from La Riva winery is a sublime expression of the hilly Emilian region, where winemaking tradition blends with modern techniques to create sparkling wines of great character and finesse. Made with pure Pignoletto grapes, this sparkling wine is distinguished by its classic method of secondary fermentation in the bottle, which ensures a complexity and a particularly rich structure, elevating it among the prominent names in the category of Italian sparkling wines.

Visually, the Pignoletto Brut Laetus presents a light straw yellow color, enriched by an extremely fine and persistent perlage that caresses both the palate and the eyes with its elegance. Olfactorily, it offers an exquisitely varied bouquet, with notes of green apple, citrus, and floral nuances that intertwine with more complex touches of yeast and toasted bread, a result of the long rest on the lees.

On the palate, the attack is fresh, immediately followed by an explosion of flavors that reflect the aroma, with perfect balance between acidity and savoriness. The finesse of the perlage maintains a pleasant persistence that invites another sip. This Pignoletto Brut is ideal as an aperitif, but it can also beautifully accompany light appetizers, fish-based dishes or shellfish, and proves excellent in combination with Japanese cuisine.

A high-quality product that reflects the skill and passion of La Riva winery, the Pignoletto Brut Metodo Classico Laetus represents an excellent choice for those wishing to discover the refinement of Emilian sparkling wines and enjoy a rich and memorable sensory experience.

Winery history
Tenuta La Riva was founded as a family project, driven by Alberto's passion and the tradition of several generations. The estate has grown steadily, focusing on bottle refermentation and the promotion of local grape varieties such as Pignoletto and Trebbiano Modenese, with the family involved in every stage from vineyard to cellar.
Production philosophy
The winery favors refermentation in bottle and a low-intervention winemaking approach: organic farming, low use of sulfites and techniques that respect the land and health. For sparkling wines they practice long periods of lees contact and perform disgorgements à la volée for low- or no-dosage wines.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate, located in the Colli Bolognesi at Castello di Serravalle, is surrounded by the characteristic calanchi of the Emilian Apennines and lies about half an hour from Bologna. It cultivates indigenous and international grape varieties suited to the hilly terrain.
